Cecilia Ibru Moulding School for Young Women
A strategic educational institute that runs like a camp, Cecilia Ibru Moulding School for Young Women is the first of its kind in Nigeria. The school seeks to protect the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of the girl child. We also help to shape their future and their perspective about life as they transit from adolescence into adulthood. Our programs deliver practicable and realistic lessons designed to make young women productive members of society.
The MCF Women Empowerment Scheme
This is another initiative of the Michael and Cecilia Foundation that works to positively affect the lives of young and old women in Nigeria through adult education, vocational training/skills acquisition, and award of startup grants to improve the quality of life for women and their children, ultimately creating a better society. The Women Empowerment Scheme is an expression of our firm commitment to the realization of the UN Sustainable Development Goal 5 which is “to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls”.
MCF Community Development Project
Nothing is as just and fair as having people in the rural communities enjoy what other people in the cities enjoy. Unfortunately, many rural communities in Nigeria today lack basic amenities like potable water, decent educational infrastructure, and many more simply because they live in rural areas. MCF Community Development Project is primarily directed at reducing poverty in these locations through humanitarian initiatives and campaigns. We want to make it clear that staying in a rural area is not a crime and residents can still achieve their dreams.
